2025 Roofing Roundup: Highlights of the Year
Every year brings something a little different, and 2025 was no exception. This year, we had the chance to work on a wide range of roofing projects for homeowners across the Hudson Valley; each with its own style, goals, and personality.
This roundup highlights just a few of the projects we enjoyed working on this year. They show the variety of roofing systems we install and the level of care our crew brings to every job. From classic shingles to custom metal roofs, we’re so proud of how these turned out.
Here’s a look back at some of our favorite roofs from 2025.
Elegant Shingles for a Classic Home in Woodstock, NY
The Roof Type:
Simple, complementary asphalt shingles
Why We Loved This Project:
Sometimes, a straightforward roof is exactly what a home needs. This house called for a clean, classic shingle roof that worked with the existing color palette and overall style of the home.
This older roof required a full replacement. We installed durable GAF shingles in the elegant Shakewood color, enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of the structure. The new roof offers superior protection and contributes to the home’s overall curb appeal.
What Our Client Said:
“Extremely professional from the first encounter having the process explained in detail- all questions and concerns answered clearly- through the actual installation and cleanup we were treated with respect and consideration.”
– Carole H.
Sleek Roof Refinishing in Elizaville, NY
The Roof Type:
Metal Roof with a protective Silvercoat layer
Why We Loved This Project:
This 100 year old metal roof is a beauty that was worth preserving. The roof was showing signs of wear, so we applied a protective Silvercoat layer to enhance durability and extend the roof’s lifespan, ensuring reliable performance against harsh weather conditions. This treatment not only safeguards the metal but also improves energy efficiency (plus, it looks great!).
What Our Client Said:
“Working with Sheeley was easy from start to finish. Phil came out and evaluated our 100-year-old tin roof, which we feared we would have to replace, and explained that repainting was an option instead. That was terrific news—not just from a cost perspective, but also from a preservation one. The crew who completed the painting were great: efficient, effective, and they cleaned up after themselves. All in all, a positive experience.”

Metal Roof Repair in New Paltz, NY
The Roof Type:
Standing Seam Metal
Why We Loved This Project:
This project challenged us to balance urgency with design. After a fallen tree damaged the metal roof panels and compromised the home’s structural integrity, our priority was not only restoring full protection, but doing so without sacrificing the home’s sleek, modern aesthetic. We worked quickly and efficiently to secure the residence, and the end result speaks for itself.
What Our Client Said:
“Personable and punctual. Free estimate on work and completed in a timely fashion. Quality work and quick response to correspondents. Would highly recommend Sheeley.”

Roof Replacement in High Falls, NY
The Roof Type:
Owens Corning Duration Shingles
Why We Loved This Project:
This project was all about elevating both performance and curb appeal. We gave this home a noticeable visual upgrade with that rich brown shingle color while reinforcing long-term durability. The result is a roof that not only looks great but delivers dependable protection against the elements—exactly the kind of balance we love achieving for homeowners.
What Our Client Said:
“Start to finish, I was totally satisfied. Beau and Chris with their team did an excellent job.”
